So how about those KPOP Tour dates?



Has anyone else here realized how so many groups are going on tour all at the same time? For example, in the Stray Kids Step out 2024 video on YouTube (https://youtu.be/Pxss4QUsz8Q?si=_dIQ5U5RbU2NqLwF) they announced a world tour (We are still waiting ANXIOUSLY for those dates). Then, after that Tomorrow x Together had a comeback in April and then announced their Act: Promise tour almost directly After that. (I got tickets to DC on June 8; I am over the moon happy about that. Watching Lollapalooza live on YouTube just isn't the same thing). Our most recent perpetrator is Ateez, they have been hinting at a world tour since their last comeback with Crazy Form back in December, which would be, y'know fine, IF they hadn't just done Coachella! I am so proud of these boys (don't get me wrong), yet their tour announcement hurt my multi-stan heart. I barely managed to get TXT tickets, literally dots were flying of the seating chart in real time, but Ateez JUST finished Coachella. Ateez got so much attention after that performance so fighting for tickets I heard, was worse than TXT. I weep for the multi-stans out there like me who have to pick and choose what shows they want to go to (I sacrificed Ateez for Stray Kids), because realistically, most of us can't afford to go to all of them with how expensive tickets are starting to get. I am so proud of my boys that I've mentioned and i love all of their achievements, but now for us who have been with them since before they blew up, it's rough out here. And don't think i forgot about Enhypen. I saw the beginning of their Fate tour out of Seoul in a live stream and they were amazing. But! That world tour was already so long, and then they added about 4 or 5 more US stops for their Fate+ leg of their tour. I can't imagine how hard that must be while preparing for their Memorabilia special album comeback. So yeah, it be rough out here for us multi-stans. Xdinary Heroes also just had a comeback, i would die if they added a tour, or Kiss of Life for that matter. I wish everyone luck when buying KPOP concert tickets, may the odds ever be in your favor.

Hello, everyone. I am thinking of starting a segment on here and it is called K-Pop group of the week. I know this isn't a new concept and it has been done a million times, but I don't know what else to call this segment at the moment so this is just what we're gonna go with for now. This will be the first installment of that segment and I will be talking about Stray Kids today as they have gathered more attention lately from when I started liking them, and, they have a comeback on July 19; so let's go. Stray Kids is an 8 member Idol group from South Korea who debuted in 2018 on March 25, they are celebrating their 6th year this year. They debuted after Bang Chan hand picked all of them and went through their own elimination show run by JYP himself, Lee Know and Felix were eliminated and then, brought back into the group at the end. They were originally a 9 member group but became an 8 member group in 2020. We don't really know much about what happened,

K-POP Group of The Week: Kiss of Life

 Hello all, I'm back again. This week we will be talking about Kiss of Life (KIOF). They are a rookie girl group that debuted 11 months ago, they debuted on July 5, 2023, as a four-member group. Their careers are just starting but they have already done so much for being rookies. They received 7 Rookie rewards in 2023 when they hadn't even been a group for a year. My Day at the Lake: Lake Lure

So, this week we will not be doing a K-pop group of the week, I didn't have time to gather information for one this week because we have family in town. So, I am writing today about my time at the lake today at Lake Lure, North Carolina.  As I mentioned before, we have family in town and we thought it would be nice to swim because, you know, summer, so we went to the lake. See, where we are in North Carolina is completely land locked and the nearest, actual beach, is Myrtle Beach in South Carolina and is about 4 hours away and not ideal to travel to; because Lake Lure was closer and had a small beach, we went there. The entrance fee was $10 per person and we stayed for a couple of hours. Lake Lure is a man-made lake in Hickory Nut Gorge in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It had such pretty scenery and was very relaxing. Me and my family went and had a great time.
