Random Late Night Musings

As today is mother's day, I wanted to make this post.  Has everyone bought their moms/maternal figures gifts? Or are you doing something special for them? I hope you are able to spend time with your moms/maternal figures. It takes a very patient person and a strong willingness to want to care for others to become mothers. I know people say this all of the time, but it still seems the best way  to describe who mothers are, they will always take care of you and put you before themselves. Mothers will always worry about you. You can be making millions of dollars and have so much that you don't know what to do with, a family, a house. You could be happy, and they would still be worried about you and always worried you'll lose your happiness. Mothers always want their children to be happy and healthy and in a situation where they know you'll be ok without them there. Always cherish your mothers or maternal figures. Always. As much as we want them to never leave us, everyone knows, deep down, there will come a day when we will no longer be able call them and talk to them for hours or drive 10 minutes away whenever you want to see them, to hug them, to tell them thank you and that you love them, don't take it for granted. I know a lot of times someone will read these things and get inspired to see their mom to call her every often, and then they don't do it. I know life gets in the way because everyone eventually builds their owns lives that they live, but don't forget the one who would always sacrifice something they need for you. Apologies, at this point, this post is probably going on preachy, I will finish this post by saying: Let's all make an effort, like you would any relationship, to maintain the relationship. Life will always get in the way it's just a matter of how much time you make to reach out and keep that relatonship strong. Don't let it get to the end, as best as you can, and regret not being closer, not maintaining that open line of communication.
